We have a client that we had to setup 5 new workstations. We configured one workstation perfectly and then cloned the hard drive to the other workstations. After everything was imaged over and all workstations were up and running, we proceeded to install GoToAssist Pro unattended on them. They do not show up as separate computers on the web site. It looks like the last one to boot up is only seen. It’s like all 5 computers want to take up the same spot in the GoToAssist system. We uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times. Same results… Please help.

They all have different names and different IP addresses. They look like they are all fighting over the same spot in the web interface. In the web interface, the name changes. This has happened to me at other clients where I imaged a hard drives. I just realized it was not me doing something wrong. There must be a common signature between imaged / cloned computers that GoToAssist is using that I’m not aware of…

SOLVED: I found out that the first technician that setup the first workstation used GTA Pro to configure the software after hours. He then removed GTA Pro before cloning the drive. GoToManage / GoToAssist Pro leaves a unique ID in the registry under HKLM/Software/Citrix that was cloned to all the other workstations. Deleting the registry key on all the computers fixed the issue we were having. This unique ID did not happen using GTA Express and is a unique problem to GTA Pro.
