Hi everyone,

Since it looks like the timeout issue is being solved ill move onto the next annoying thing about the web interface.

It would be handy if the login page gave the option to cache the username / email address of the tech who logs into the gotomanage system so only the password needs typed when logging in.

My logic is that if an evil person was to gain access to my machine he / she could find my email address from a hundred different places on my PC so theres no real security issue for me in having it cached on the login page.

Let me know if im wrong.

Fair point. Let me take it up with the engineering and security teams as well. Look for the change to the “timeout window” coming in the next few days.

You can now use your browser settings to remember your username and (if you’d like your password) to save time when logging back in to GoToManage.
