If you are a regular user of Paglo and have created dashboards for network management, server monitoring, asset tracking, or just about anything else, you will appreciate three new features that we just rolled out. When we asked our most active users about what they wanted before our next major release, these were the most requested new dashboard improvements.

The benefit of being on-demand and delivering IT Management as SaaS, is that you do not need to do anything to take advantage of the new capabilities. So here they are.

Auto-refresh
This was by far the feature that people wanted most. You can now configure your dashboards to auto-refresh at an interval of your liking. This is particularly useful in NOC environments where you have a monitor on the wall and multiple people watching what’s happening.

Column-customization
You can now also select how many columns you want on your dashboards so you can monitor more key infrastructure on one screen. For example, if you are like us, you may want to track 12 different charts at one time on your flat screen.

Legend position
When you are monitoring lots of items on a line chart you can now decided where to place the legend so it does not interfere with reading the actual chart. Use the new legend control to determine where you want to see the legend.

Thanks to everyone who provided feedback on how we should improve our dashboards. And stay tuned as we have some exciting new additions coming in the next few weeks.
