The report lists three key reasons why companies should adopt SaaS. The first is speed of deployment. There is nothing to build and companies can get started in minutes.

Second, is the fact that with on-demand services, companies can shift the risk of maintaining the software and the hardware to the experts at the companies who deliver these services.

And finally, the research suggests that the “pay-as-you-go” model of SaaS is cash flow efficient for companies. Keep your own cash longer. This is even more important in an economic downturn.
